Bird Watching Searching for Properties for Rent in Curacao

Whilst in PROPERTIES FOR RENT IN CURACAOyou should look out for the many birds which can be seen around the island. There have been more than 168 species of bird registered on Curacao and 51 of those are breeding birds, 71 are from South America and 19 are seabirds. The bird called The magnificent jet black frigate bird (Makuaku) can be seen around the beach and the harbor this is a creamy white breasted bird with a very large wing span the bird feeds on bits of food leftover from the floating market. There is a flamingo Colony on Curacao and the best place to view these in their natural state would be the Jan Kok Salt Pans, the flamingos arrived on the island and stayed there from Bonaire during a very rainy year during the 1980`s
